Ubuntu Linux 7.10 beta

Quite possibly the best liveCD open source linux distro I’ve ever seen.

The benefits of linux allow a stable running environment and virus free computer usage. But imagine being able to read both Mac and PC files. Being a designer I run into that problem often. Plug and play everything (including most wireless cards). The live CD itself allows you to test drive it whenever you want or even use it to recover data because windows got messed.

I was successfully able to dual boot windows and Ubuntu Linux without any problems. I recommend using Gparted which is an open source bootable partition manager (linux based). Create a three partitions, one for windows, one for ubuntu, and one for a linux swap file.

Jen's Wedding

Last weekend was the first time I’ve ever been to California. I went with my sister to Corona Del Mar for my cousin’s wedding and I have to say that it saddens me to come back to muggy mosquito infested Michigan.

The wedding itself was incredible, A live band, dance floor, and all the alcohol you could imagine held at my aunt and uncle’s house down near the beach. AMAZING!
